Suge Knight Involved in Fatal Hit and Run, Victim Dead
Suge Knight was involved in a hit-and-run in Los Angeles on Thursday, and the victim has been declared dead. TMZ reports that Knight got into a fight on the set of a film project in Compton and ran over a man. Knight reportedly then fled the scene.
Multiple witnesses report that a film shoot for an unspecified project was underway with Game, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre present when Knight pulled up in his car. A fight broke out between Knight and two crew members. Knight then got back into his car and ran over a bystander when he was reversing away from the scene. An eyewitness video shows first responders attempting to give the victim CPR.
Sources say the victim is Terry Carter, a friend of Knight’s. The two men who fought Knight reportedly instigated the incident, with Knight in fear for his ailing health (he was famously shot six times last summer and recently suffered a near-fatal blood clot.)
